What to Expect from a FSMA Inspection?
Who should attend:
Fruit and vegetable growers and others interested in learning about produce safety and what to expect from a Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Inspection. FSMA is a law with which certain fresh fruit and vegetable growers may need to comply. Inspections will begin in 2019. Brent Krieger, State of Michigan FSMA Inspector, and other experts will present how you can prepare your farm for a FSMA inspection and have your farm ready for a successful inspection. This will be in an informal setting and will include Q & A so you can discuss your specific farm operation.
